John joined Aztec in 1999 as Managing Director of Aztec's Exhibitions Division. Prior to this John worked as Sales and Marketing Director for an IT division of a large Japanese multinational corporation.
In 2005 John led a management buyout and in January 2006 he and other Directors bought the business.
During this time, John also joined the board of the Event Services and Suppliers Association (ESSA) and is always looking for new ways to improve standards within the event industry.
His ethos centres around "doing things the right way." He is extremely intolerant of poor service on any level and this mantra echoes throughout Aztec.
Life outside work revolves around his young family and the (very) occasional game of golf!
Dan worked for Aztec on a freelance basis for many years, before joining the company on a full time basis in 2005 as a Senior Account Manager. He quickly established himself in this role and has been a major driving force in Aztec's expansion and growth over the last few years. In 2008 he became Account Director in recognition of his outstanding performance.
Dan's energy and enthusiasm for his job is much appreciated by clients and staff alike. In addition to this he has extensive technical knowledge and his specialist technical area is camera/video production.
Remarkably, despite holding down a very busy and high pressure role, he still finds time for an extremely demanding pastime - learning Japanese!
Starting his career at Aztec in 2000 as a Field Technician, Leo steadily worked his way up the organisation, becoming Warehouse Manager twice (after taking a year off to travel Europe in his trusty VW van) and moving client side in 2007 as Account Manager. Since then Leo has made an enormous contribution to Aztec’s growth, and became Account Director in February 2011.
Even though he possesses excellent technical knowledge and has a wealth of project managing experience, Leo's real strengths lie in his communication skills. He is a natural people person, dedicated to making our clients’ lives as simple and easy as possible, and always ready to go the extra mile in ensuring events run as smoothly as possible.
Leo has a passion for classic cars and analogue photography. In his free time he keeps chickens, walks his dog on the beach and plays the guitar.
Steve has been working in the events industry since 1990. He started as a technician then rose quickly through the ranks to an operational management role. He joined Aztec in 2000 and became Operations Director in 2006.
Much of his time is dedicated to ensuring that all staff around him are given 24/7 support. Although his role revolves around making things happen, he is very focussed on doing things the right way.
Steve is an ardent football fan and enjoys watching Fulham in his spare time.
