Lord’s

Aztec is frequently appointed to work with businesses and organisations at events hosted at ‘The Home of Cricket’. Lord’s Cricket Ground is situated in the heart of leafy St. John’s Wood in north-west London and is easily accessible from the capital’s mainline railway stations and nearby tube connections on the Jubilee Line.

Built in 1814, Lord’s first hosted international test cricket in 1884 when England faced a touring Australian side. Today, it remains a well-used home of the England cricket team, as well as Middlesex Cricket Club, one of 18 first-class county clubs in English cricket.

Given the history and prestige surrounding Lord’s as a sporting venue, it is also a popular venue for corporate events and seminars. With 15 separate rooms available on-site, it is one of the city’s most flexible locations to host anything from informal roadshows and internal training sessions to industry award ceremonies and conferences. The Nursery Pavilion is one of the most impressive event rooms in the capital, affording magnificent views of the cricket field and plenty of space for the set design and event visualisation you had in mind.

Aztec’s team regularly offers technical services to events hosted at Lord’s Cricket Ground. We have an excellent working relationship with the staff on-site and have the experience and knowledge to recommend effective stage or table layouts, as well as sound, lighting and projection.

However big or small your event, Lord’s Cricket Ground certainly has a room to suit. Furthermore, our award-winning live events team provide the same attention to detail for everything from the smallest gatherings to world-leading events.
