Manchester Central

This stunning convention complex has been created out of the former Manchester Central railway station, retaining the distinctive Grade II listed arched roof. It is the city’s second-largest live event venue after the Manchester Arena.
The original Manchester Central railway station was constructed in 1875 and previously served as the terminus for express trains between Manchester and London St Pancras. The station closed its doors in 1969 and it wasn’t until 1986 when it was reopened as the Greater Manchester Exhibition Centre. Two phases of recent renovation took place in 2008 and 2009 to future-proof the now-renamed Manchester Central. Today, there is meeting space for up to 10,000 delegates, with 23,000 square metres of versatile floor space to utilise your way.
The multi-faceted Manchester Central venue offers a multitude of event locations on-site, tailored to the number of guests and the style of event you wish to host.
